Hire Martin's Maintenance for professional radon testing and/or mitigation

Radon is an invisible radioactive gas that's odorless and tasteless. It can cause severe health problems over a long period of time. In fact, radon is the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer.

If you'd like to test your home, office, or building, reach out for an appointment. Testing to EPA standards will take a minimum of 48 hours and I will discuss 'closed house conditions' with you.

If an inspector determines that you have radon levels of 4.1 pci/l or more, contact Martin's Maintenance. I can provide mitigation services tailored to your needs. Sometimes the EPA recommends a long-term test. Feel free to call and chat about it - I can arrange to visit your location in the Great Falls, MT area for a free estimate.

Do you need radon mitigation services? With more than 10 years experience, you can count on Martin’s Maintenance to come to your aid.

Here is the 9 step guide to the Radon Mitigation process:

  1. Radon test reveals the home has a radon problem.
  2. Request a bid from Martin's Maintenance.
  3. I do a walk-through of the home, ask questions, and figure the easiest way to lay out the mitigation system.
  4. I provide a full explanation of how the system operates and the homeowner can ask questions
  5. Review and accept the bid
  6. I may perform diagnostic testing to ensure proper fan size and may need an electrician to install a separate power source.
  7. I seals cracks and openings in the basement. (crawl space installation is different)
  8. I installs the radon mitigation system. (this can be an all day process, sometimes more)
  9. Home is retested to ensure the system has reduced radon levels. (if not, more steps may be needed)
